About The Position

Based in our Paget Workshop, as a Fitter/Machinist you will be required to:

• Perform the stripping and rebuilding of hydraulic cylinders and engineering components.
• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings and use of measuring tools

About YouTo be successful as a Fitter/Machinist with the Austchrome Team, you will require:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications
• Experience in hydraulic cylinder overhauls (desirable)
• Experience operating CNC machines or manual lathes
• Have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances.
• Be committed to safety and the wellbeing of yourself and your teammates.
