Fitter Turner / Machinist

We're seeking a passionate, reliable trade qualified Fitter Turner / Machinist for a small workshop environment in our Sydney branch (based in Greenacre) with a broad-based offering of fitting/machining work. Our regular week is 40 hours.

This position will be involved with driveshaft repair, assembly, manufacturing and balancing.

What you'll need to demonstrate...

• Interest or experience in all or most of the following; fitting, milling, machining, centre lathe operation, MIG welding and industrial balancing.  
• Training will be provided so that you can work independently as soon as possible, however you will need to have the ability to learn quickly and work unsupervised with a positive approach at work.
• A proven ability to safely and consistently produce quality work.
• High attention to detail, reading of drawings and ability to check your work.
• A good team focus because you will have a strong influence on those around you.
• Ability to manage a customer driven timeline environment.
• Self motivation in following all company Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
