Maintenance Technician
Group 6 Metals are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance team. This position is full-time and based on King Island at the Dolphin Tungsten Mine at Grassy.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Carrying out repairs and general maintenance of our Fixed Plant.
- Conduct inspections and identify equipment faults, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure uninterrupted quarry operations.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and prioritise maintenance tasks, to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.
- Interpret technical drawings
Job Requirements
- Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication or Mechanical
- Dual trade in Mechanical/Fabrication advantageous
- Sound MIG welding skills
- Background in Mining desirable
- 1+ years’ experience within a Fixed plant discipline.
- Current C class manual driver’s licence
- Current Australian working rights
Roster – FIFO 14/7 from Melbourne, Burnie or Launceston, day work only.
