This is an 8-month contract position, backfill a role in the WAIO Rail Network Maintenance Communications Team, based in Port Hedland.
This role would operate on 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, paid 12 hours per day and at a competitive hourly rate and will commence August 2024.
In this role you will work with some of the following systems:
- Able to pass a CAT I Medical
- Cert III in Data & Voice Communications UEE30411 or equivalent trade.
- WA "C" Class Manual Drivers License
- 4WD Offroad Certified
- Track Access Restricted
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensuring day to day Availability of the sites Fleet Management, Wireless Telemetry Systems, Network and Server Infrastructure and Digital Radio System.
- You will be required to assist in the installation and maintenance of Wireless Telemetry Systems (WTS).
- Assisting in the installation and maintenance of Production and non-Production CCTV Systems, Fleet Management System, Physical Access Management System, Digital Radio System and/or other OT systems as the need arises.
- Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives that contribute to current and potential value to the business.
- Execute the Maintenance Work Plan as per schedule and relevant work instructions associated with the work orders.
- Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
- Strong engagement and creating a positive culture among execution teams.
