A large Australian business is looking for a Junior Business Analyst with Data Migration experience to join them for 2-3 months to support a migration
Seeking a Junior Business Analyst with Data Migration experience to join them on an initial migration. This is an exciting opportunity to join an employer that is well known for its innovative culture and long term opportunities.Key responsibilities:
- Build the bridge between stakeholders, understanding the link between requirements, process and data.
- Ensure business needs are properly modelled, analysed and reflected in solution designs.
- Support with data preparation activities;
- Manage a high volume of email communication
- Maintain Excel registers of migration statuses for all types of migration modes
- Search SharePoint libraries to identify certain types of documents and files
- Run and update reports from SharePoint sites to error check after completed migrations
- Support change management initiatives including training materials where appropriate.
- Ensure effective collaboration with all impacted teams and partners.
- Actively participate in and facilitate stakeholder workshops/training.
- Previous Data Migration experience is essential
- You’ll need to be confident in moving from multiple legacy systems into a single target state
- Data modelling experience preferred
- Working knowledge of O365 would be ideal
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
