AddressAn exciting opportunity exists for a Fleet Allocator to join our growing Client based our of Wetherill Park. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for planning, directing and scheduling the day to day deliveries and pickups for our contracts in Victoria.
About the role:
- Effective day to day management of overall fleet controlling duties
- Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided
- Process driver run sheets and monitor potential compliance issues
- Ensure timely dispatch of loads with a sense of urgency
- Ensure all elements of fleet operation requirements are met efficiently with maximum optimisation of vehicles, drivers, sub-contractors and equipment.
- Continually improve systems and processes
- Drive adherence to all security policies and procedures
- Shift start time: 7am
About You:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience in a similar role within the transport industry is favorable
- Able to make decisions in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Great attitude and able to develop a positive culture and motivate peers
- Strive to consistently deliver results and beat service and budget targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven planning and problem solving skills
