Band 5 - $73,036 - $83,503 per annum plus 11% statutory superannuation

Wellington Shire Council is seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent customer service and time management skills as a Fleet and Procurement Officer within the Finance business unit in a permanent full-time capacity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and control of Council's fleet of approx. 95 vehicles. Together with a variety of purchasing and tendering activities, you will ensure that the fleet is managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also assist in procure-to-pay functions including training and projects as required.

You will possess an excellent service ethic and outstanding communication skills, including being heavily customer focused, proactive and familiar with the motor industries sales, service, and repairs. Also procurement functions for a significant diverse organisation.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:

? Experience in resource management, fleet management and purchasing

? Proven ability to negotiate with staff, suppliers and tenderers to achieve desired outcomes

? Demonstrated ability to gather data, analyse and interpret report findings

? A high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products

? Proven ability to work well in a team environment with a 'can do' attitude
