About the Role 

The Fleet Systems Manager is an integral part of the Fleet and Maintenance Division and will report directly to the General Manager of Fleet. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Fleet Management Systems initiatives working closely with IT and INCAB teams supporting the Operating Divisions and Suppliers to ensure alignment with company strategy and values. 

Specific and General Training will be provided to you by the Company.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Working within The Fleet department and interdepartmentally alongside key stakeholders to effectively implement and maintain company systems.
• Participating in all Fleet Systems projects including yet not limited to Transport Management Operating Systems, Telemetry & INCAB.
• Supporting Fleet & Maintenance teams with all connectivity projects and heavy vehicle INCAB commissions.
• Daily upkeep of Workshop Operating Systems & Administration across all company workshops and supplier interfaces.
• Managing Fleet INCAB installation program to ensures quality and connectivity in all aspects.
• Provide technical support to Fleet customers for INCAB defects. 
• Implement, automate, and maintain systems that streamline Fleet and company process with the aim of reducing overheads.
• Develop and automate Fleet metrics reporting for monthly and quarterly management packs.
• Lead and implement all Fleet connectivity projects in partnership with IT & INCAB teams.
   

This is a permanent, full-time role. Ideally the role will be based in Wodonga, but other locations can be explored. Regional and interstate ravel will be required for training or work-related reasons.

About You
You have a solid background in IT Systems Development and Implementation, ideally in a Transport and Logistics environment. 

Having worked in the IT development space and/or systems implementation project management you are ready to roll up your sleeves with a role that allows you to make a real difference to the safety and performance of a significant fleet.

You thrive on achieving results, have a strategic mind that can problem solve while possessing the interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all organisational levels to understand and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Your skills and experience will include:

• A minimum of 5 years’ working in a similar role;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Strong organisational and planning skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
• Ability to solve complex technical problems;
• Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing projects;
• Bachelor Degree in Applied Computer Science or equivalent;
• Proven programming skills Sequel, SSRS Script writing;
• Familiar with CAN Bus (Controller Area Network) and FMS Fleet management systems communications systems.
