Who are we looking for?GHD is establishing a program of work to progressively update technology that directly enables our Enterprise-wide approach to delivery. This work is being planned and implemented via a partnership between the Delivery Excellence team and Information Services (IS). We are looking for a
Project Manager during this critical Delivery Excellence Program (DXP) implementationIn this dynamic role you will:
- Hold primary responsibility for the delivery of projects
- Liaise with relevant program stakeholders, IS technical contributors and Business Analysts throughout the lifecycle of the project(s)
- Document and ensure project scope allows for consultation and approval
- Establish the internal governance pathway for the project based on its scope and
impact, and then manage the project in accordance with the agreed pathway * Prepare / establish material to support the release of the project into the DXtransition to BAU phase
What you will bring to the team:- An ability to confidently initiate and sustain communications with a range of parties
within the Enterprise * Advanced written skills, including the ability to concisely translate a large amountof information into reports and correspondence, targeted at both technical and
non-technical audiences as needed * Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changingpriorities * Project Management skills including progress, tracking, financial management,vendor management, reporting, risk management * Demonstratable experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches andknowing when to apply both
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or demonstrated
experience to meet the Key Skills and Competencies * Certification in one or more project management methodologies highly desirable
- Minimum 7 years' experience in comparable role
- Industry background and/or working in large corporate environments preferred
