CASAIR provides aircraft charter services for the Resource, Oil and Gas Sectors through FIFO, executive transport and time critical freight flights.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking Flight Operations Coordinators to join the Flight Operations team.
THE ROLE
The Flight Operations Co-ordinator is responsible for the seamless co-ordination of the day to day processes across all aspects of the CASAIR Flight Operations department. The Flight Operations Co-ordinator is the primary point of contact for all aircraft operational matters including working with clients, suppliers, flight crew and maintenance personnel to ensure the seamless operation.
Our client base is made up of the Resource, Oil & Gas sectors, Government departments, and Aircraft Charter Brokers. CASAIR support a number of contract clients on set run FIFO flights, and we provide “go-now” charter flights for critical infrastructure support and emergency services.
The Flight Operations Co-ordinator is a key team member sharing the role with other Flight Operations Co-ordinators giving our clients an on duty point of contact from before the first flight of the day through to the close of operations usually in the early evening. The Flight Operations Co-ordinator will also be scheduled as the point of contact one weekend each month.
A normal early shift will commence at 0430am and conclude at 1230pm. A normal late shift will commence at 1100am and conclude at 1900pm. All shifts are currently on a Monday to Friday basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary point of contact for clients and suppliers.
Provision of quotations and flight confirmations to clients directly or through internal processes.
Providing flight information to clients including assistance in matters regarding on-line manifesting for passengers and freight (including dangerous goods).
Ensuring all inwards and outwards client freight is acceptable to travel on CASAIR aircraft and is received and dispatched within company procedures.
Internal liaison with flight crew, ground crew, maintenance personnel and senior management relating to flight schedules, payload requirements and limitations, aircraft availability and requirements, flight crew and ground crew scheduling.
Supplier liaison, including landing and parking permissions, ground handling, catering, fuel requests, crew accommodation, crew transfers and meals.
Identifying and actioning opportunities for continual improvement.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
A service industry background in providing customers with exceptional levels of communication.
Experience in transport and logistics – preferably aircraft operations.
Understanding of or the ability to learn and participate in Fatigue Risk Management Systems.
Understanding of or the ability to learn about aircraft operations including performance and operational limitations, dangerous goods freight and aviation compliance matters including safety management systems
Proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and the maintenance of databases
Valid WA motor vehicle driver's license
