OSA is currently seeking a Flight Standards and Operations Coordinator in our Perth office reporting to the Flight Operations Manager. This is a key role responsible for the accurate update of aircraft and component records.All you have to do is get on board.Role summary The Flight Standards and Operations Coordinator role will provide administration support to the Flight Standards Department (FSD) and aircrew. This role will also support the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) Manager as the Flight Operations Compliance Monitoring Officer providing necessary checks and audits of all flight crew members' logbooks and rosters as required.Key ResponsibilitiesAdhering to all SMS accountabilities as determined in OSA's Safety ManagementAdhere to company health, safety and environmental, equal opportunity/sexual harassmentMonitor, update and track Flight Standards department documents and expiry registersCoordinating document review notifications, ensuring that the information is accurate and up toCoordinate documentation for internal review, approval and CASAMaintain and update the electronicMaintaining the department administration of the OSA LandingCoordinate printing and distribution of operational supporting documents and ensure the timely distribution of publications to manual holders.Maintain and update subscriptions of aircraft fuelReview and update internal processes and procedures and develop workManage inventory levels of items used to support the Flight StandardsActing as the Company administrator for ASIC applicationsTracking and follow up on FSD safety and action itemsFRMS and FSD Training and Induction for new hiresConducting FRMS daily spot checks and FRMS weekly audits on all flight crew member's logbook and rosters to ensure complianceChecking and monitoring any FRMS non-compliance issues and reporting to the FRMS Manager for follow upAssisting flight crew members in maintaining flight and duty recordsAssisting flight crew members in the reporting of any discretionary extensions, fatigue occurrence reports or any other of the FRMS process in compliance with CASASupporting the FRMS promotion activitiesOrdering aircrew uniformsOrdering helmets and coordinating repairs for aircrewOther duties as requiredSkillsExperience in technical document control environment would be advantageous.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access)Analytical thinker with strong detail orientationAble to think laterally and provide creative problem solving solutionsAbility to learn technical, detailed procedures as required for this functionTeam orientedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated strong customer service skillsDemonstrated "can-do" attitude and possess a drive to succeedFlexible and adaptable approach in meeting company requirements
