Due to substantial growth, one of our Multi Store Franchisees has a unique opportunity for a floating Technician / Store Manager, where you can combine your frontline sales and customer service skills alongside your mechanical background.
About the role:
- The successful applicant will float between Forrestfield, High Wycombe and Willetton Auto Masters workshops in a Technician or Store Manager capacity, depending on requirements.
- Supervising the effective operation of the workshop, and ensure that all staff are supported and able to meet KPIs and sales targets
- You are required to create and maintain strong customer/client/ supplier relationships
- You will be responsible for managing and reporting the weekly and monthly KPI’s and targets to head office
- As the floating manager you will have a sound knowledge of brand products and services to be able to promote them accordingly
- Abide by our Quality Assurance System
- Ensure a safe, clean working environment for staff and customers
- Responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of a range of used and new vehicles
- Manning the front desk as required and dealing with customers
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with vehicles
- Provide the highest level of workmanship on all vehicles
- Develop and maintain knowledge of all dealership products and services offered
- Adhere to correct procedures when performing warranty works
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment
- Complete all required paperwork with all details of works carried out
- Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedure
About you:
- Fully qualified 3+ years’ experience in the trade
- A sound knowledge of the automotive industry
- High standards in customer service and customer care
- Capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable resolutions
- Proven experience in leading, motivating and developing a team with excellent communication and managerial skills
- A hardworking mindset with a genuine passion for the cars, mechanics, and the automotive industry
- At least two (2) years and recent experience in managing an automotive service centre or equivalent and a proven track-record in sales within the automotive industry is desirable.
- Valid WA Driver’s license
- Relevant tools of the trade
