Maxima, and our Host Employer are looking for committed individuals to undertake an entry-level Flooring Technician Apprenticeship.

These full time positions are a great opportunity to gain paid practical work experience and formal training towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Flooring Technology. This role will require you to travel between work sites across Metropolitan Adelaide.

Duties Include:

• Prepare floor surfaces for installation 
• Install various floor surfaces including carpet, timber and vinyl 
• Remove existing flooring
• Perform basic calculations based on measurements
• Maintain clean and safe environment

• Strong work ethic and passion to learn
• Ability to work within team environments and independently 
• Love working hands-on 
• Strong problem-solving skills 
• Hardworking and committed to work and learn

• Must hold a provisional or full driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labour work
• Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including drug and alcohol test
• Previous construction experience or pre-vocational certificate (desirable)
