Demand planning and forecasting duties:

• Build sales forecast by SKU and prepare replenishment strategies.
• Manage service and inventory levels of new product introductions and deletions between businesses.
• Maintain appropriate and agreed monthly inventory target levels, minimising out of stock risk.
• Liaise with MCoBeauty supply planning team to ensure we can meet demand.
• Manage Chemist Warehouse stock on hand and stock categories.
• Track and report inventory investment to ensure high service level in maintained.
• Drive service KPIs and reporting
• Act as custodian of the service and requirements for CW, ensuring correct and adequate flow of products into CW (i.e.: governance on full product lifecycle for CW)
• Optimise ordering processes for CW and ensure governance of product flow from order to on shelf
• Fortnightly visits to the Chemist Warehouse to discuss and confirm expectations, review forecast and ordering based on promotional activity and off location plan aligning with forecasts, review cost efficiencies, stock availability, upcoming planogram and off location readiness
• Build a relationship with planner, forecaster, supply and logistics and support retail
• Identify and report on SKUs that aren’t moving to align marketing strategy

Sales data Analysis duties:

• Analysis of SKU lines and sales
• Sales reporting – daily, weekly, monthly
• Provide analysis on month end sales projections to ensure alignment between businesses.
• Provide our Sales, Marketing and Category teams with timely and accurate commercially focused financial and analytical support.
• Support key business processes such as new product development, forecasting and budgeting.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in replenishment / supply chain within the FMCG industry.
• Experience within the pharmacy industry is preferred but not necessary.
• An understanding of the warehousing and transport processes as well as end to end supply chain operations.
• Experience in managing customer relationships and understanding their supply chain challenges.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide advice, influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Prepared to own a process and accept accountability for performance.
• Have a keen eye for continuous improvement and the willingness to adapt as required.
• Strong aptitude for data analysis
