About the Role
They are currently seeking a Senior Research & Evaluation Analyst to join their growing team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home. This an estimated 6month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Policy and Evidence Business Unit, you will be required to identify emerging issues, undertake analysis, research and evaluation initiatives that improve organisation wide policy development, reform and client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead specialist research, analysis and evaluation projects
- Assess the impact of policy proposals
- Identify emerging issues and trends, mitigating risks
- Design and implement tools to identify and facilitate improvements to policy development including data systems, survey tools and interview guides
- Review and maintain analysis, research and evaluation frameworks
- Provide evidence based advice and recommendations on research and evaluation project designs, methods and reports
- Undertake and review quantitative and qualitative data analysis to present insights to varied audiences
- Preparation of high level documentation including briefs, correspondence, discussion papers and Ministerial and Cabinet requests
- Act as the interface between government and non-government stakeholders
- Keep abreast of policy developments, analysis, modelling, research and evaluation methodologies
- Contribute to continuous improvement strategies
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
About You
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
Requirements
- Demonstrated Senior Policy or Research experience essential
- Extensive qualitative and quantitative research experience
- Proven Human Services Sector experience
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
