Form of workThe Driftwood Cafe is a busy cafe in the vibrant town of Ocean Grove. Whilst we live in a tourist based town with a influx over summer, we have been established for over 10 years and have a very loyal local customer base. We have a strong environmental ethos and we want our staff to really embrace this. We love food and coffee, we love what we do and want this experience to come through via our staff.
We are looking for the right person to join our FOH team. Someone who enjoys hospo, can have fun with it but is also conscientious, hard working with an amazing attention to detail.
The right person for us will have
- A "can-do"attitude
- experience in a busy cafe / restaurant with table service
- enjoys working with people
- attention to detail
- able to use computer systems and out through orders correctly
- follow the flow of service
- has some wine & coffee knowledge (preferable but not essential)
- able to work weekends and public holidays
