Address Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, resort shop and a full service Day Spa and Hair Salon, Chahoya.
We are currently seeking ten (10) Food and Beverage Supervisors to join our Food and Beverage Department on a Full Time basis. The successful applicant will be employed on a Full-Time basis working 38hrs per week, commencing in March 2025 for a duration of up to 4 years.
You will need be be available to work day and afternoon shifts as well as weekend shifts. Though this may change from time to time.
The key duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure self and staff display professionaly, friendly, helpful service to all guests
Serve Food and Beverage, undertake set up and pack down tasks
Learn and understand stock ordering and transfer procedures through check
Process Food and Beverage orders and financial transactions using IT system
Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and log all complaints in log book for further follow up
Control stock and monitor security procedures
Assist manager with menu creation
And other duties consistent with the role of Food and Beverage Supervisor
The work you will be doing is hard and physically demanding. It will involve e.g. reaching above your head or bending over for long periods of time. You will be working both indoors and outdoors in hot and humid conditions with temperatures up to 25-45 degrees Celsius. You need to be fit and in good physical condition to do this work.
