We are looking for a positive and customer focused, Food, Bar and Gaming Attendant in a Full Time role to join our team at Hotel Federal, in Wynyard.The general duties performed in this role will include attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing and dispensing beverages and providing fantastic customer service to all our hotel guests.Some of the position’s duties include (but are not limited to):Managing gaming functions within the venueManaging TAB functions within the venueMonitoring gaming operations within the venueMaintaining compliance and responsible gaming practicesDay to day operations of a busy gaming roomDemonstrated cash handling proficiencyA comprehensive knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations and proceduresA comprehensive understanding of food & beverage products and servicesA professional & mature “can do” attitude with the ability to work unsupervisedAn ability to provide fantastic customer service to all our hotel patronsThe following qualifications are desirable:Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)Keno Writer or Senior Keno Writer Supervisor CertificatesTAB experience would be an advantageAvailability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays.Vantage Group is proud to be recognised by the Tasmanian Government as an Employer of Choice and offer fabulous employee benefits, contemporary workplace practices, and outstanding support for our employees.
