About the role
As the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the F&B operation, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction aligned with Hyatt’s purpose.
You achieve this through planning, organizing, directing and influencing the Food & Beverage Team and operation. You provide and influence a personalised memorable experience in the outlets, by showing a genuine interest in the needs and preferences of the guest and delivering these in a confident manner.
You will be a hands-on player in the guest experience and work with the food and beverage team to deliver exceptional service.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Experience managing premium restaurant and bar operations
- A hands-on management style
- Strong leadership and team development qualities
- Excellent financial acumen and drive to achieve results
- Attention to detail with guest experiences
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Strong communication skills
- Proven work experience as a Food & Beverage supervisor and track record of success
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge, and understanding of the sequence of service
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills
- Professional, presentable & positive attitude
- Current RSA
