Perfectly suited to those who have a basic level of food and beverage service skills and are eager to learn from on-the-job training.A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, positive attitude, immaculate personal presentation and the ability to say “Bonjour” is a must.
- Work with your team to set conference rooms promptly and accurately to the specifications described on the function sheets
- Ensure client expectations are met, delivering food and beverage service that exudes luxury and aligns with Sofitel brand standards
- Take responsibility for your designated rooms or sections during service
- Ensure all food and beverages requirements are delivered on time and as specified.
QualificationsYou'll excel in this role if you have:
- Four days of availability each week, including Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Availability to work PM shifts starting from 4pm until midnight
- Basic level of food and beverage service skills including greeting guests, taking orders, cleaning and clearing
- Physical capability to move heavy items as needed and practice safe handling at all times
- The ability to carry three plates at once
- Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification is a must
- A high level of personal presentation aligning with our brand standard
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and also in a team.
