The role includes
- A la carte service in both a fine dining and casual setting
- Function service including morning and afternoon teas, cocktail parties, banquet style events and small to medium private parties for Members
- Coffee service
- Set up and break down of functions and meetings
The position is Monday to Friday but requires flexibility as day & evening shifts are involved. The Club has a small number of events on weekends during the year.
The successful applicant will enjoy working as part of a small professional team and will have an adaptable and pro-active nature. They must be flexible in their approach, as this is a varied and diverse role.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Hospitality experience in a similar role (minimum 1-2 years)
- Immaculate presentation
- Refined communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Attention to detail and ability to work with a substantial level of accountability
- A can do attitude
- Creative flair
- Basic Wine knowledge
- Basic Barista skills
- Current RSA
