We have a new name and a new look. Formerly known as the RSL Club Southport, SOPO is an innovative and progressive venue located in the heart of Southport. Together with our sister property in Surfers Paradise - Diggers and Sports Club, we are looking for experienced Food & Beverage Attendants that pride themselves on being a Customer Service Extraordinaire!
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Taking orders and serving food and beverages
- Providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items
- Ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- RSA certification
- RSG & Food Safety certification (highly desired)

Hours on offer range anywhere from 10 to 38 hours per week. If you want the work, we've got the hours!

- Be reliable and flexible to work a 7 day rotating roster which includes days/nights/weekends.
- A passion for the hospitality industry and the role you are applying for
- Ability to work in a busy environment, under pressure and multi task
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming
- High level communication skills, in all written, verbal and listening areas
- RSA Certificate
- RSG and Food Safety Certificate (highly desired)
