Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.The Food & Beverage Supervisor position is a hand on, leadership role which will assist in the effective running of F&B outlets. The role will enable you to improve guest satisfaction by maintaining efficiency of service, general product and technical knowledge, and exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism. You will oversee and assist F&B Attendants to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring the outlets are prepared and organised to meet business requirements.This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for food and beverage in Brisbane!A few of your responsibilities
- Supervise team members and assist the leadership team with any training and development needed for team members
- Monitor the quality of food and beverage service to ensure high standards are always maintained
- Ensure a high level of guest experience is always provided in the venues and is professional, hospitable, timely, effective, and efficient
- Set specific daily performance objectives for all team members and supervise the service flow
- Make recommendations to the Venue Manager that will assist in maximising revenue and minimise costs to meet company and division budgets
What we are looking for- Previous supervisory experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol
- The ability and knowledge to build rapport with a diverse range of guests
