The Opportunity
Located in Ormiston, Cleveland Gardens Retirement Living is a large retirement living community, home to 200+ independent living units & assisted living apartments, filled with gardens, croquet lawns, bowling green and much more! Our small hospitality team is growing and we are looking for fun and friendly Food & Beverage staff to join our team to deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents! You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service, and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. Our Food & Beverage team staff complete a wide range of front-of-house and back-of-house tasks where you will enjoy connecting with residents dining in our restaurant, but also enjoy spending time in the kitchen completing some food prep!
We have various casual opportunities available, with the opportunity to move to permanent in the near future. Afternoon availability is highly regarded (approx. 3-7pm)

You will
- Provide a high level of Customer Service to residents during lunch or dinner service times
- Assist in the daily preparation of meals
- Assist with the delivery of Food & Beverages
- Assist with morning teas, afternoon teas and happy hours
- Complete the setup and pack down of the restaurant
- Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up)
What you'll bring
- A friendly and warm persona with a passion for building relationships and chatting with residents!
- Experience in a fast-paced hospitality, restaurant or customer service environment (highly regarded)
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
