Food & Beverage Supervisor

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager you will be responsible for the efficient operation of this fast-paced  restaurant which provides world class wine, food and service to our guests. Leading by example with a hands-on approach you will support and develop a team who thrive in a high-pressure environment, whilst ensuring their engagement in the delivery of personalised and attentive customer service.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Ensuring the Customer experience flows smoothly from beginning to end.
• Organizing the correct seating for our bookings Customers, and Walk-Ins.
• Coordinating  and liaising with the Chef's from the pass, to the table.
• Organizing the floor-staff to ensure the delivery of your service is seamless.
• Setting, reviewing and maintaining the high service standards expected of a 4.5 Star hotel Restaurant 
• Work closely with F&B Manager and Conference & Events Team 
• Assist with training and developing of team members on product knowledge
• Liaise with the kitchen on menu, guest feedback and service improvements
• Effectively handle guest and team feedback
• Work a rotating roster across weekdays /nights and some weekends and public holidays

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

• Previous experience in leading team members
• Strong restaurant/bar service experience
• Ability to effectively manage fast paced environments within the restaurant, bar and conference & events.
