Our client is seeking Food & Beverage/Restaurant Managers to take on permanent full-time roles based at their hotel located in the heart of St. George, QLD. Just moments away from local attractions and natural beauty.
As a Food & Beverage/Restaurant Managers, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating front and back of the house restaurant and function operations.
- Engaging with customers regarding concerns, complaints and other queries in a professional manner.
- Regularly reviewing product quality and standards.
- Ensuring that company policies, procedures and values are met by all employees.
- Organising and allocating shifts appropriately for employees.
- Appraising employee performance and providing constructive feedback where necessary to improve workplace productivity.
- Experience in menu planning, development, and implementation based on market trends and guest preferences.
- Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Promoting the hotel/restaurant name and brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
- Maintaining operational costs and expenses & liaising with the owners, head-chef and other stakeholders.
- Have a strong understanding of Food & beverage and function aspects.
- Certifications in food safety and alcohol service (e.g., Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- At least three years previous restaurant management experience (or in a similar field such as a catering operation)
- Passionate and strong focus on effective and efficient customer service.
- Be punctual, a strong leader, and an organised individual.
- Be able and willing to work effectively as a team to achieve goals &
- Have access to reliable transport.
