Additional information:
- These roles are Permanent, Part-time, 40hrs/fortnight.

- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts with a spread of hours between 7am to 8pm. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
- If your application is progressed, you will be invited to a Group Assessment Centre.

About this work area
As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Operations:
- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus onfood safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
- Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
- Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.
Who you are
As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are and/or have:
- Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
- Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
- Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
- Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
