Bambini Parkville, located at the Royal Children's Hospital is now searching for a casual Kitchen Hand to join our passionate team and create meaningful opportunities through shared mealtimes, connection, exploring nutrition and cooking experiences. This is a casual role, Monday to Friday 11:00am to 4:30pm.
About You:
- A Certificate in hospitality or Certificate III in commercial cookery preferred but not essential (adequate experience will be considered).
- Follow Basic Food Safety Practices ( HLTFSE001).
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (highly regarded, though not essential).
- Have a strong knowledge of and experience in managing children's allergy & medical conditions.
- Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks.
- Knowledge & understanding with Food Act 1984 and Food Safety Programs.
- Willingness to learn and be a part of the Bambini family.
- Positive, reliable, loves working collaboratively.
- Current Working with Children's Check.
- Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate.
