Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 plus 11% superannuation
Our client, Sky Fuels Pty Ltd. operates Bordertown Roadhouse in Bordertown South Australia. Bordertown Roadhouse is a fuel station with convenience store and serves hot food and authentic Indian curries.
The client is looking for a highly motivated full-time and permanent Hospitality Worker to support and assist the roadhouse team. The successful candidate must be able to deliver outstanding customer service with a positive and vibrant attitude.
As a Hospitality Worker you will also be responsible for customer service and kitchen functions, including but not limited to, food preparation, stock control, cash handling, maintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene, loss prevention and general housekeeping.
Hospitality Worker should be a team player, should have a can do attitude and is flexible to follow various work instructions and always remain focused on safety and service delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
•AQF Certificate II or III in the relevant field
•2+ years' experience in a similar role
•Experience of working within the roadhouse set up
•Food handling
•Cash and Eftpos handling
In this role your main responsibilities include:?
•taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
•setting and arranging tables
•taking food and beverage orders
•providing excellent food service to customers
•assisting in food preparation and presentation including: making of Coffees/Teas, cooking take away food, stock replenishment, cleaning and other general duties
•clearing tables and returning dishes, glasses and cutlery to kitchen
•operating EFTPOS and cash registers
•stacking and displaying goods for sale
•Open and close procedures
•Unload and stock freight
•Maintain stock levels
•preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials
•sell products and services in the context of the workplace, i.e. roadhouse
•practising proper workplace health and safety procedures
•comply with relevant regulations
•basic food preparation
•follow cleaning safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective clothing
The successful candidate will have a passion for the retail and the hospitality sector, be career focused and have strong management qualities.

•Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive workplace.
