Food Production Supervisor - Day Shift

As our industry leading business continues to expand, so do opportunities within our production facility in Banyo. We currently have a position available for an experienced FMCG supervisor to join our morning Production Team.

 The ideal applicant will have minimum 5 years' experience working within a food manufacturing environment and will have a proven background in leading their team to deliver exceptional quality and results each day. You are a passionate leader who enjoys the challenges of working in a fast-paced factory environment, and who is capable of making changes towards continuous improvement, whilst adapting to a growing and evolving organisation.

What you need to have: (this used to be in one of our older ads)

• Experience coordinating and liaising with various departments to meet desired production outcomes
• The ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Able to work in a cold environment
• The ability to work within strict food quality standards and guidelines

Your role as a leader in our company:

• Daily management of your area and team members including:
  • leading by example in following all company procedures, using safe work practices and setting high safety standards (HACCP controls and GMP)
  • performance management of employees
  • facilitate and support team members on return to work plans
  • show strong people management skills and openly communication with team members and management
• Managing daily and weekly rostering for your team
• Conduct scheduled toolbox meetings
• Ensuring staff training is managed and up-to-date
