Food Production & Packing Supervisor For Health Food Business

Rapidly growing natural Food Business, Natures Farmer Sea, has the need for an experienced full-time Food Production & Packing Supervisor to join our team to help manufacture our leading Sea Moss gel.

We run daytime shifts with around 20 production and packing team members to supervise in a dynamic and changing environment.

• Do you work well under pressure, in an environment where everything's made to order and you will need to change production based on demand day-by-day? 
• Are you able to build and lead a team that can grow with the business?
• Do you take pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is done?
• Do you have over 3 years’ Production Supervisor/ Site Supervisor experience within a food manufacturing or related environment?
• Do you have over 5 years' food processing/manufacturing experience ideally with previous experience on a production line or in a processing environment?
• Do you have a current Forklift Licence (preferred but not mandatory)?
• Do you understand the food manufacturing principles, and do you have experience in dealing with HACCP?
• Do you have experience managing basic stock supplies?
• Are you experienced in using computers and management software?
• Do you have a strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles?

The Role

This will be a hands-on role, with some of the required functions including (but not limited to):

• supervising blending and pick and pack to make sure production and dispatch are completed each day as per the schedule;
• working hands-on with the blending and pick and pack team to complete production each day, as required;
• working with the Operations Manager to recruit, induct, train and build the team, as required;
• overseeing the management of stock and cleaning;
• ensuring all standard operating procedures and quality requirements are followed; and
• ensuring all OHS&E are followed.
