Job Description

Melco Foods Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing our commitment to quality and excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring that our food and meal solutions meet and exceed industry standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and consistently deliver the exceptional quality our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Quality Assurance program.
  • Oversee and conduct regular quality audits of our commercial kitchen component and food production processes.
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and product enhancement.
  • Investigate customer feedback and product quality issues to drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and maintain compliance with Food Safety and quality standards.
  • Manage and lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure our workforce is aligned with quality objectives.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in food Quality Assurance, with a background in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance software and tools is a plus.
