Food Safety & Quality Technician - Night Shift

The CompanyOur client is an industry leading food manufacturing company with a multinational presence, with a plethora of brands.

The Role

Reporting directly to the FSQ Manager, your responsibilities will include: 

• Line Support / Daily review - Collecting and reviewing paperwork and electronic production records, highlighting any non-conformances and assisting with corrective actions
• Required sampling and testing of raw materials, products, machinery and production areas · Sampling - Follow correct sampling procedure & monitor
• Conduct internal GMP audits each month in the warehouse, production lines etc
• Assist other internal audits on site including HACCP, calibrations, pest control etc.
• Maintain Lab area and workspace to standards while ensuring a safe work place

Your BackgroundIn order to be successful for this role you will have:

• Preferred Major Area of Study: Food Science & Technology, Engineering or a relevant technical area
• Strong communication skills
• Basic laboratory skills – microbiological and physical
