Food Services Assistant

The Royal Melbourne HospitalAs one of the largest health services in Victoria, and a team of more than 10,000 strong, we provide a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services; as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology and virtual health.
About the role- Prepare, plate, distribute and collect patient meals
- Provide meal and beverage service to wards & patients
- Basic food preparation including plating and heating of meals
- Cleaning duties, use of industrial dishwasher
About you- Current Food Handlers Certificate (Health HLTFS207C)
- Contribute effectively to a team environment and independently as required
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to cover leave
