Food Services Assistant (Casual)

As a Food Services Assistant, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our Bronte Facility..

St Vincent's Care Services Bronte is a boutique facility located in one of Sydney's beautiful beachside neighbourhoods. Our 107 bed facility offers a high standard of holistic care as well as specialist dementia accommodation.

Things that work for us:

• Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals (ideally in an aged-care or hospital environment)
• Commercial cookery, food handling (or similar) qualifications desirable
• Ability and willingness to assist with food service duties including setting tables, washing dishes, cleaning or whatever task needed to deliver an excellent service to our residents
• Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
• Flexible availability to work morning &/or afternoon shifts across the week in a casual (as needed) capacity
• An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation
• Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
• Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
• Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination and National Police Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
