The Role
This role encompasses the fundamental responsibilities of a Food Services Assistant including:
- Assisting the Chef/Cook in preparing meals to residents and patients
- Complying with Food Safety Plans and follow relevant hospital procedures
- Ensuring a high level of customer service
- Ensuring food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, and appliance are clean
- Handling, sorting, and distributing food items
What you will need to be successful:
- Ability to work autonomously
- Passion for working in Food Services
- Flexibility to work over a 7 day a week roster
