As a Food Service /Dietary Care Assistant you will assist in preparation and serving of meals to our residents at mecwacare O’Mara House, a 67 – bed facility. Your strong team focus aligned with ability to prioritise tasks in the kitchen will make you successful in this fast-paced role.

As a Food Service /Dietary Care Assistant you will assist in preparation and serving of meals to our residents at mecwacare O’Mara House, a 67 – bed facility. Your strong team focus aligned with ability to prioritise tasks in the kitchen will make you successful in this fast-paced role.
What you bring:
- Certificate in Food Handling: HLTFS207C.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen.
- NDIS Check is essential.
- Age Care experience an advantage.
- Experience in the preparation and presentation of food for large groups.
- Ability to provide a high standard of customer service.
- Understanding of and commitment to safe work and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to understand and complete documentation in accordance with Food Safety Plan requirements.
- Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
