Chefs, Cooks and Kitchen Hands Needed

We are currently recruiting Food Services staff to join our friendly, busy team for morning and afternoon shift.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Prior experience in the Food Service Industry
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
- A high attention to detail with a hands-on approach
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
- Flexibility to pick up extra shifts as needed.
Desirable:
- Thorough understanding of OH&S and Food Safety practices, holding a current food safety certificate (this can be done online)
- Knowledge and understanding of standards required for Residential Aged Care Facilities, and/or previous aged care experience.
- Caring, motivated and efficient person with a genuine interest in caring for elderly people.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparation (service) of meals for a minimum of 80 residents.
- Keep all work areas tidy.
- Observing Infection Control Guidelines e.g., Standard and Additional Body Substance Precautions and OH&S Regulations throughout your shift
- Utilizing resources in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
