Qualifications & experience
- Formal higher education qualification in a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
Tasks & responsibilities
- Sampling and testing of raw materials, semi-finished goods and final food products for their chemical composition and nutritional value
- Actively contributing in research and development activities for new products development; conducting experiments, setting quality control systems, policies and food safety standards for practical application of the food products
- Continue researching new techniques and methods to improve existing food products for increasing shelf life
- Troubleshoot and resolve product quality problems by researching problems, analysing data and development solutions to problems
- Ensuring and recording that all food products are compliant with quality and safety systems
