SalaryWe have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Food Technologist to join our team for a 6-month fixed term contract. This role will be responsible for working closely with the Product Development Manager to create and update specifications, technical documents, costings and allergens into the relevant Product Development Management Software.
This role will be based in our Fremantle office and will report into the Product Development Manager.

Key responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to build specifications and Bill of Materials
- Specification management including raw materials, packaging, finished product specifications and quality attribute standards
- Preparation of interim and final specifications for internal approval, regulatory compliance and as per customer requirements
- Assist in benchmarking to understand competitor’s key quality attributes.
- Assist in developing new product concepts.
- Assist in coordination of factory trials and preproduction trials.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in food science
- Strong in project management and managing projects.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
