Salary $76,499.51 up to $86,176,27per annum plus superannuation overtime and penalty rates may apply.

About the Position:
Wollongong City Council's Waste Services mission is to create, operate and promote Waste Services as a dynamic
and sustainable business that provides value for money services to our community, now and in the future. Council's
Wollongong Waste and Resource Recovery Park (Whytes Gully) is a commercial operation that prides itself on high
performance and adherence to strict environmental standards.
This position is a hands-on role, in dynamic workplace, leading a team of operatives in the daily operations of waste
services.
You will be responsible for:
* Operating multiple types of heavy plant.
* Taking in and diverting waste across the site.
* Undertaking daily maintenance of equipment and the waste site.
* Providing customer service to the general public, council staff and other authorities who visit the waste site.
* Applicants should be suitably fit to undertake the duties as outlined in the job description.

About you:
- You are a positive team leader, who is able to deliver clear instructions and motivate a team to complete tasks to a high-standard.
- You have demonstrated initiative, and problem-solving skills in a workplace where following strict quality control standards is critical.
- You utilise your experienced high-level customer service skills to successfully liaise with all stakeholders in a timely manner.
- You are leader in safety with a strong focus to fulfil all your obligations in all areas of WHS.
- You have a current HR Driver's Licence, Front End Loader Licence and a current WHS Construction InductionTraining Certificate?
