The Resource Recovery & Waste Division of Tamworth Regional Council is seeking the services of a talented individual with substantial experience in the supervision and control of the day to day and long term operation and maintenance of weighbridge functions.
As the Coordinator Customers & Systems, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our waste management operations.
You will have the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders as well as applying conflict resolution strategies and problem solving techniques as required.
The Coordinator Customers & Systems - Resource Recovery & waste is responsible for:
Supervise and control the day-to-day and long-term operation and maintenance of weighbridge functions through the effective utilisation of staff and equipment
Plan, program and review work for weighbridge team to ensure safe, efficient and effective service delivery.
Manage the response to all customer enquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
Management of weighbridge functions
Management of daily and strategic operational functionality of all IT hardware and software unique to the Resource Recovery and Waste business units, such as weighbridge POS, audio-visual recording, data capture and processing, and emergency early warning systems.
Working effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including applying conflict resolution strategies and problem-solving techniques
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
Certificate IV or diploma qualification in Waste Operations and/or suitable relevant experience in waste operations, typically 5-7 years
Customer Service experience
WH&S General Induction Certificate for Construction Work
Drivers Licence
Immunisations Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus & Q Fever or willingness to undergo

Salary range: Grade 17 - $1,764.30 - $1,909.20 per week excluding superannuation for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
