SalaryStaff Australia are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators within the FMCG industry.
Our client currently has one of the largest supply bases of growers and packing sheds in Australia. They have been trading in the wholesale fruit and vegetables at the Brisbane Produce Markets since 1921. Since then, their business has evolved and expanded to include importing produce, cold storage, quality control, ripening, pre-packing, order assembly and value adding.
Due to considerable growth, our client has Forklift Picking positions that have become available for reliable and proactive individuals to join their team based in Rocklea.
- Shifts rostered between Mon-Sat with 2am-7:30am starts.
- Payrate $29.83-$32.52 per hour
- Temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate.
Shifts
- Monday to Friday 2/3am starts - $29.83 p/h (plus penalty early morning shift rate)
- Monday to Saturday (5 days) 4:30am starts - $29.83 p/h
- Monday to Friday 7:30pm starts - $32.52 p/h
Responsibilities
- Stock control
- Paper pick/packing of stock
- Counterbalance forklift duties
- Making sure the warehouse is kept in a clean state
- Complete paperwork/labels
- Working between ambient warehouse and cold storage
About you
- A proactive-can do attitude with an invested interest in continuous improvement and advancement in your role.
- Physically capable to perform manual handling tasks.
- Be eager to learn and adapt to daily challenges.
- Experience in (FMGC) with in the food industry will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Available to work a roster between Mon-Sat
- Own reliable transport
- Available to start immediately.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Work safely and efficiently with great attention to detail.
