About the role
We are seeking a Forklift Operator to perform a general Forklift/Combi-lift operations to support the production of remanufactured building products. The positions require the ability to work a mixture of shift patterns, including, day, afternoon and night shifts across Monday - Friday.
This is a full-time position working on a 5-day, 8 hour rotating shift roster;
- 3-week Rotating Shift Roster Cycle
- No weekend work
- Shift Allowance
Night 11:00pm - 7:06am Start 11pm Sunday, Finish 7:06am Friday
Afternoon 3pm-11:06pm Start 3pm Monday, Finish 11:06pm Friday
Day 7am-3:06pm Start 7am Monday, Finish 3:06pm Friday
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Pack picking using RF scanners
- Loading/Unloading Trucks
- Reviewing delivery documentation
- Loading a range of general freight, including oversized, and long length product;
- Quality inspection of packs
- Consolidate stock when necessary to match up same product or to make space for incoming goods;
- General labouring and housekeeping.
To be successful in the role:
- Experienced Forklift Operator – LF class License;
- Be safety conscious, follow safety procedures and be mindful of workplace hazards for yourself and others;
- Good communication skills;
- Experience with RF scanning;
- Knowledge and demonstration of general warehouse procedures and safety protocols;
- Computer literate, Microsoft Office Suite;
- Be reliable and able to work shifts;
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Alpine’s core business is manufacturing Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) for many uses in the construction, and related industries and is distributed and sold nationally in Australia. Complimenting the core business, Alpine MDF has established a re-manufacturing business on the same site where core products are reprocessed into specific building products such as pre-painted skirting, architraves, door and window components and decorative wall lining panels.
