We have an exciting opportunity for hardworking and outgoing Labour Staff & Forklift Operators to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for picking timber lengths, preparing customer orders forklift operations and liaising with customers. The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Assist in loading of customer trucks when required.
- Prepare by picking, wrapping, and strapping of customer orders for pick up/delivery.
- Safe operations of a forklift vehicle, loading and unloading of trucks.
- Maintain general housekeeping practices across the shed and work areas.
- Be available to work Monday - Friday.
- Have experience operating drop saws and machinery ideal.
- Have knowledge of Timber products (highly desirable but not necessary - training provided).
- Have previous experience working within a timber or building and construction environment.
- Have strong work ethic and reliable.
- Must hold a valid Forklift licence.
- Have a safety conscience.
