If so, we want to here from you!RSPCA Victoria is searching for an experienced people leader with a track record of delivering change to lead the transformation of our Foster Care program so that we can achieve our goals of providing the best welfare to every animal in our care.You will be responsible for reviewing the current state of our program and developing and executing a plan to increase the number of animals in Foster Care and reduce the time it takes for them to find their forever homes. This role is fundamental to our success as an organisation and will allow us to help more animals in need across Victoria.In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for:Leading a passionate team of staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and engaging environment.Spearheading a program transformation, reducing animal stay times, increasing Foster Care participation, and enhancing animal welfare.Providing exceptional support to Foster Carers, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to provide top-notch care to animals in need.Developing innovative strategies to attract and retain dedicated foster volunteers, creating a program that thrives.Collaborating effectively with key stakeholders like inspectors, veterinarians, and behaviorists to guarantee the best possible care for animals.Driving continuous improvement, streamlining processes and challenging the status quo to improve animal welfare outcomes.We're looking for someone who:Thrives in a leadership role, inspiring and motivating a team to achieve ambitious goals.Embraces change and transformation, possessing a proven track record of implementing successful improvements.Has a deep understanding of animal care, including animal behavior, health, and safe handling practices (previous experience highly desirable).Excels in relationship building, fostering strong connections with stakeholders that can be relied upon to deliver positive changes to the programDemonstrates exceptional communication and collaboration skills, ensuring information flows seamlessly across the organization.This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of animals.
