Fractional Cfo (Contract)

Join a leading Brisbane-based recruitment SaaS business, Scout Talent, as our Fractional CFO. As our Fractional CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and efficiency during an extended leave period for our CFO. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll have the opportunity to shape our financial future and contribute to our ongoing success.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis and Strategy: Analyze our financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and streamlining.
• Risk Management: Evaluate potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, providing insights to key stakeholders.
• Interim CFO Support: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, providing guidance and support in the absence of our CFO.

To excel in this role, you'll need proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive. Experience in the technology or SaaS industry will be highly regarded. Your strong analytical skills, strategic mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively will set you apart. You must be Brisbane-based and willing to work from our office in Milton.

Hours will be 2-3 days per week, commencing ASAP through to the end of March / April 2024.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and skills. As part of our team, you'll enjoy a culture of innovation, collaboration, and recognition. For the right candidate there may be potential for future opportunities to support the business (e.g. as a consultant), beyond this initial contract period.
