About the role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, Mining and Primary Steel, we are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the CFO in all Strategic and Finance activities across Mining and Primary Steel (MPS). This is a chance to work closely with the CFO and grow and develop your experience in a changing and dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Interacting with senior leaders on various finance matters
• Provide in-depth analysis of reports and documents present by the business teams for the CFO's review
• Participating in meetings and providing a summary/action points for the CFO's review
• Analysing and providing solutions to issues by creating a detailed action plan for successful resolution
• Preparing board reports and presentations
• Involved in Annual planning & budgeting and forecasting process
• Involved in the preparation and presentations with lenders
• Involved in the Capex review process.

You will be someone who has strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills who enjoys working in a fast paced, flexible environment. You are also resourceful and have strong communications skills to be able to work effectively in a cross functional team at all levels of the organisation.

Skills and qualifications required:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
• CA or CPA qualified
• 3 - 5 years Post qualification experience within a large corporate, mining or professional accounting services firm
• Highly advanced skills in MS Office suite
• Proven skills with reporting and presentations to senior management
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Experience using SAP
