Franchise Business Bookkeeper (AU/NZ)
Full time $60,000 – $90,000 per year.

Gutter-Vac Australia is a team of franchising professionals who since 1995 have built a strong presence in the delivery of Home and Property Services via the Franchise sector in Australia, USA, soon to be UK and NZ.
With a growing national presence, further plans for international growth in 2024 and a team of dedicated and hardworking individuals, we are looking for an individual that can provide deeper support to the executive team, via timely and accurate reporting of business performance.
This role will also be the conduit between the business’s accountancy practice, who will continue to support the business with its payroll, and ATO obligations.
Our business continues to experience growth and we are on the hunt for our next team member who can add value to the business via attention to detail, accuracy to cashflow management and provide the ability for the Executive team to be aware at all times - the true position of the Franchisor business so far as it relates to the core franchising business goals.
The role is Full Time Monday to Friday and based in Northgate, Queensland, and will report jointly to both the General Manager and Director(s) of the company.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping).
To be Myob and Xero certified or working towards.
Tech savvy and knows their way around multiple different software programs.
Demonstrates a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
Career focused and goal driven.
A strong willingness to learn and continually seek to improve.
Data entry skills with attention to detail and dealing with complexity.
Developing standards and analysing information.
Excellent communication skills, verbal, non-verbal and written.
Tasks & responsibilities
Review, analyse and prepare financial statements and accounts for the executive team, by no later than 7th day each month.
Contribute to strategies designed to solve company issues and provide ideas.
End of month reconciliation of financials for all Gutter-Vac entities.
Ensure that our franchisees operate with a compliant financial system that meets the ATO business standards.
Actively participate in any personal and professional development programs, internally or externally.
Proactively participate in all meeting and communication processes.
Proactively and professionally assist other team members.
Assist in training and developing our network of franchisees knowledge and ability to use financial systems to ensure that they are always fully aware of their financial position.
