As a Fraud Analyst, you will closely work with the various Fraud detection teams to keep abreast of key fraud trends, monitor the team’s performance and provide feedback, support the team’s success by providing regular updates on key observations/knowledge of emerging fraud trends. Moreover, minimise customer disturbance in the detection of fraud through efficient rule writing, detection, and prevention techniques. You will also Manage and monitor on day-to-day basis the ongoing development and performance of PRM and other Fraud detection systems. Proactively, monitor for card compromises and take action to minimise loss to the Bank.
In this role, you will identify and drive implementation of ‘best practice’ fraud detection techniques. You will also support the delivery of technology projects and change programs across Retail/Cards and Fraud Operations and represent Fraud Operations as a SME/Fraud expert.
Role Location: MDC 100 Building, Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City, Philippines
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift Schedule: 10AM to 7PM, must be open to rotating & shifting schedules. 50/50 Hybrid Work Set-up.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Rule writing skills with Fraud Detection or other Risk-based decision systems
- Specialist fraud knowledge or previous MIS experience, experience in a BA role
- Desired - Post graduate qualifications in Statistics and or Mathematics.
- Extensive programming experience (ex: SAS, SQL, Visual Basics)
- Demonstrating Initiative
- Continuous improvement focus
- Ability to produce meaningful reporting
